INDAS AK / INDAS AK AIRLESS

Coating with manual or Airless application that protects bituminous roads from hydrocarbon spills, such as at service stations, drive-in lanes, and airport taxi ranks.

  • Coating for bituminous surfaces to protect them from chemical attacks caused by oil, petrol or kerosene spills
  • Non-skid surface appearance, suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • Resistant to light and heavy vehicle traffic or aircraft, except for highly aggressive traffic (tangential forces, forklift trucks, etc.)
  • Fire reaction classification: Bfl-s1 (according to standard NF EN 13501-1)
  • Product complies with American standard ASTMD 466
  • Application adapted to type of work site: manual application for small surfaces or by spray (pneumatic / Airless) for larger surfaces
  • A water-based product to protect the health and safety of users

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

  • Single-component grout made from water-based resin
  • Density: 1,63 kg/l
  • Colour: black
  • Packaging: 
    - Indas AK : sakapo equipped metal cans of 25 kg, drums of 90 kg net and drums of 300 kg net (on request) 
    - Indas AK Airless : sakapo equipped metal cans of 25 kg and drums of 90 kg net

CONDITION FOR USE

  • Dense bituminous coatings, more than 3 weeks old and free from sweating phenomenon
  • Asphalt more than 48 hours old
  • Surface temperature limits: 10°C<T<35°C
  • Maximum humidity: 80 %
  • Mix with an electric mixer to homogenise the product
  • Apply to a clean and dry surface, either manually with a hard rubber trowel or by spraying with a pneumatic or Airless machine
  • Higher rates are prohibited because they could cause excessive loss of roughness to the treated coating
