CONDITIONS FOR USE

  • Application 
    Pour the cold plaster with a trowel or similar template onto the area previously marked out with adhesive tape or a template. When the product is dry, remove the adhesive tape or template.Can also be applied with an application machine.
  • Support 
    The minimum temperature limit of the support is 10°C. Below this temperature drying will be longer and less effective.
  • Primer 
    On new or old hydrocarbon coatings it is recommended to apply an EP Primer (150 grams/m2).
  • Retroreflexion 
    Signalit Pivert cold coating is applied with glass beads.
  • Thinning & Cleaning 
    If necessary add max. 1% of VG55. Do not use other thinners.For cleaning, use Veluvine VG40 thinners.
  • Storage 
    Protected from sunlight and frost, the paint will keep for 6 months in its original packaging. The reference is the manufacturing date affixed to the packaging.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Colours: White (RAL colours are available under the name Signalit)
  • Luminance: Class LF6 (ß-value ≥ 0.80) in accordance with EN1871 Class Q3 (Qd ≥ 130 mcd.lx-1.m-2) in accordance with EN1436
  • Retro reflection: Class R3 (RL ≥ 150 mcd.lx-1.m-2) in accordance with EN1436
  • Skid resistance: Class S3 (≥55 SRT)
  • Viscosity: Thick coating, easy to apply compounds
  • Density: 1,96 g/cm3
  • Flashpoint: 10°C
  • Mixing ratio: 115 g of Noviper BP-30 hardener for 8 kg of coating
  • Duration of use: 10 minutes at 30°C and 15 minutes at 20°C
  • Curing time: between 10 and 20 minutes depending on the outside temperature
  • Composition: Based on acrylic resins (PMMA)
  • Application: Manual or pneumatic or airless machine
