CONDITIONS FOR USE

  • Application
Application temperature 160 - 180°C. The melted compound can be poured into a mould and equalized with a heated spreading-knife. It is also possible to apply using machines with a screed or extruder. To attain the yellow color (RAL 1023) 1 bag of 150 grams BRICOFOR YELLOW 2 RWP (PY83) needs to be mixed well with every 2 bags (20 kg) of Thermolit Sin Color.
  • Support
The substrate must be dry and free of loose particles. On fresh concrete (less then 1 year) blasting and application of a primer (Veluvine EP primer) is necessary. On concrete over 1 year old only primer is sufficient.
  • Reflectivity
The compound contains glass beads to provide good night visibility. In order to get immediate reflectivity glass beads are to be dropped on at a ratio of 100-200 g/m².
  • Storage
Protected from sunlight and frost, the paint will keep for 12 months in its original packaging. The reference is the manufacturing date affixed to the packaging.
